Town and Country Circle Activities

How to become a member of this merry group: You may e-mail the membership chairman Esther Castillo. The Dues are $30.00 per year for an at-large membership in the Tampa Garden Club and the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Circles have dues as well. At-large and circle memberships are available.

History: Tampa Federation of Garden Club Circles, Inc. was founded in 1928. We are celebrating our 80th birthday in 2008 and will celebrate it throughout the Spring. The organization first bought the Bayshore property in the 1940s, meeting in a home on the property. This house was later demolished to make way for the present building, completed in 1969. The Tampa Garden Club is committed to educating the public and conserving our environment.

Organization: The Federation (membership 470) is made up of 14 circles that range in size from 96 to 10 members. The Circles meet individually. A member may be a Circle or an At-Large member. Visitors are welcome at the many events held at the Garden Club. Most are described on this web site or appear as a  newspaper announcement. Call 251-5059 for more information.
